In March and April, the NCBI Eukaryotic Genome Annotation Pipeline released new annotations in RefSeq for the following organisms:
- Apis cerana (Asiatic honeybee)
- Camellia sinensis (black tea)
- Dendronephthya gigantea (soft coral)
- Denticeps clupeoides (denticle herring)
- Diabrotica virgifera virgifera (western corn rootworm)
- Erpetoichthys calabaricus (reedfish)
- Exaiptasia pallida (sea anemone)
- Glycine soja (wild soybean)
- Gouania willdenowi (blunt-snouted clingfish)
- Grammomys surdaster (rodent)
- Macaca mulatta (Rhesus monkey)
- Ornithorhynchus anatinus (platypus)
- Ostrinia furnacalis (Asian corn borer)
- Parambassis ranga (Indian glassy fish)
- Perca flavescens (yellow perch)
- Peromyscus leucopus (white-footed mouse)
- Phyllostomus discolor (pale spear-nosed bat)
- Physeter catodon (sperm whale)
- Podarcis muralis (common wall lizard)
- Prosopis alba (algarrobo blanco)
- Zeugodacus cucurbitae (melon fly)
