From June 20-24, 2019, NCBI staff will participate in ASM Microbe 2019. Not only can you visit us at booth #433, but you can also visit several posters and presentations covering various topics like prokaryotic curation, antibiotic resistance, bioinformatics in public health, and more.
Posters
On Friday, June 21, 2019, NCBI will have two posters:
- Stand-Alone PGAP: An NCBI Open-Source Pipeline to Annotate Prokaryotic Genomes
- Session Title: MBP10 – Tools for Genetics and Genomics
- NCBI Taxonomy Database for Prokaryotic Curation
- Session Title: MBP02 – Computational Genomics, Databases and Modeling
You can see each of these posters at 11am – 12pm PST and 4 – 5pm PST.
Presentations
On Saturday, June 22, 2019 7:15am-8:15am, join us for a talk titled “NCBI, Antibiotic Resistance and a Million Genomes” and on Monday, June 24, 2019 8:30am-11am, for a talk called “AMR Resources at NCBI’s Pathogen Portal” in a Symposium entitled “Genomic Tools and Databases for Prediction of AMR”.
Booth
- Friday, June 21 10:30am-5:00pm
- Saturday, June 22 10:30am-5:00pm
- Sunday, June 23 10:30am-4:00pm
Come to booth #433 in the Exhibit Hall at the above times to learn how to use NCBI resources for microbes, give feedback to help shape NCBI resources to best fit your needs, and meet with NCBI staff.
We will also have experts on hand to discuss specific resources and tools at the times listed below.
