NCBI’s Genome Data Viewer is now linked from Track Hub Registry

You can now access NCBI’s Genome Data Viewer directly from the Track Hub Registry at EBI!

When you search for a track hub in the Track Hubs Registry, you now have the option to open the hub with NCBI GDV.

You will be taken to a new view of GDV with the selected track hub automatically connected, and with the default tracks designated by the hub provider displayed in the graphical viewer. Tracks coming from the hubs can be identified by (H) before the track tile, which is also highlighted in green.

Track hub information will be reported under the User Data and Track Hubs widget in the left section of your GDV screen. Click on the Configure button to modify the tracks displayed, or search and add tracks from additional track hubs.

Note that NCBI is not responsible for the availability of track content arriving from third party sites, such as the Track Hub Registry.
